Today's Prescription: Future First Lady Vibes
Happy Tuesday boos! I’m coming off a long weekend, one in which I was under the weather, but I’m feeling much better now.
As you all know, I’m getting married next year, and my fiancé just so happens to be a preacher, with a whole church. Which means your girl is about to be a first lady. I still crack up when I think about it sometimes.
At first, I was nervous about losing who I am and my personal style, but just like anything else, I have to be myself. I can’t tell you how many times people tell me that they can’t wait to see me in my hats on Sunday. I’m here to tell you, no church hats love. I’m still going to be me. Fun, stylish, and still loving God.
No, I can’t wear everything to church that I wear on my blog or when I’m out with friends, but I can wear looks like this one. While I’m covered, I’m bright, bold, and still cute. You can find this dress here. Yes, another Aliexpress purchase.
I know everyone reading this isn’t a first lady, and you may go to a church where people can wear jeans, but this post is for my girls who may feel like everyone is watching and you have to compromise you to please someone else or abide by a dead culture. Nope.
I am not telling you to wear to church what you wear to the club, but I am telling you that you can still be fashionable in the pews. God is concerned with your heart, not your outfit.
I love ya’ll, be blessed, and stay fab!
