Today's Prescription: How to Style a Striped Dress

Happy Monday fabulistas! I hope you are enjoying your day so far. I begin my second semester of grad school today, and I can't believe in 11 months, I'll be graduating! Okay, I ran out because that's a little while away lol. I'm just excited. I'm coming off of a crazy, hectic weekend with a little bit of snow, but I really enjoyed spending time with my friends. I went to the movies to see "Hidden Figures," and I cannot lie, your girl is feeling super inspired and ready to take on the world after getting that dose of Black Girl Magic. If you haven't seen it already, I highly suggest you make that trip. So, what did my dolls do this weekend? 

Striped dresses are everything to me. As you all know, I love prints, and stripes are a staple in my closet. Some people aren't big fans, but I'm a groupie. I purchased this dress from It's Fashion Metro, and at first glance it seemed like a regular dress, but there's nothing regular about this one here! When it comes to styling a striped dress, you don't have to do much. I simply threw on these black pumps (FYI, every girl needs this shoe,) with some chunky earrings from Forever 21. Viola! I can't begin to tell ya'll how much I love this look. This striped dress reveals some curves I did not know existed, but I'm gonna embrace that blessing. If you want to dress this look down, throw on an oversized denim jacket or bomber jacket. Pair that with some comfy booties or sneakers, and you're all set boo thang!
